This is the 2019 release of the 1770 Glasgow single malt, the second release from a distillery that started production in Glasgow in 2014. It was the first new distillery in the city for a hundred years, and this one comes in a 50cl bottle.
It is made with Scottish barley and water from Loch Katrine. The whisky matured in first-fill ex-bourbon casks and was finished in virgin white oak. It is a limited edition and non-chill filtered.
It is described as soft, fruity and complex.
