1770 Glasgow The Original is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Glasgow Distillery, bottled at 46%. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
It is made from Concerto malted barley and water from Loch Katrine. Fermentation lasts at least 72 hours and distillation is very slow, giving a fruity, sweet new make. The spirit matures in first-fill ex-bourbon casks and is then finished in new American oak.
The bottling is described as fresh and fruity.
