A 12 year old Highland single malt from Aberfeldy, a distillery that dates from 1898 and sits on the banks of the Pitilie Burn. It is presented in a gold bar style pack and bottled at 40% ABV.
The spirit is matured for twelve years in a mix of American oak ex-bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose is honeyed and fruity with spice. On the palate it is creamy, with vanilla and rich fudge, and the finish is delicate with a hint of gentle smoke.
