This is a 12-year-old Highland single malt from Aberfeldy, bottled as a limited bottling, Batch 2905, at 40% ABV. Ex-bourbon and sherry casks are part of its maturation, and the whisky has a warm golden colour. It carries the nickname Golden Dram, and the distillery takes its water from the Pitilie Burn.
Honey sweetness leads the profile, with ripe fruit, fine grain and a touch of spice.
