Aberfeldy – 12 Year Old (20cl, 40%)

Aberfeldy 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, matured for twelve years in oak casks and bottled at 40% in a 20cl bottle. The distillery stands on the River Tay in the Central Highlands and began production in 1898. Long fermentation is used to bring out honeyed notes, and the water comes from the Pitilie Burn. Almost a third of each cask is lost to evaporation before bottling. It is described as a smooth, sweet dram.
