Aberfeldy 12 Years Old Madeira Cask Finish is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is a limited bottling, with twelve years in oak guaranteed, and it has been finished in Madeira casks.
The nose is golden syrup, toasted barley, dried apricot and walnut. The palate begins with fudge and orange peel, then moves to crystallised ginger, soft vanilla and sponge cake with a hint of raisins, with a slight smokiness behind. The finish is soft and honeyed, with lingering honey, citrus zest and warming oak spice.
