Aberfeldy 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt finished in red wine casks from Bolgheri in Tuscany. This limited edition is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour.
The Bolgheri finish adds fruity and spicy notes to the Highland character of the whisky. Aberfeldy was founded by the Dewar family in 1898.
The nose offers ripe cherries and juicy plums with fine spices and a subtle woody note. The palate is full and complex, with sweet vanilla, dark chocolate and a touch of nutmeg. The finish is long, with oak and a gentle fruitiness.
