This is a 15 year old single malt from Aberfeldy in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV. It is the newest release in the Red Wine Cask Collection.
The whisky matured in Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks from Napa Valley. These casks give Aberfeldy's honeyed malt a refined red tint, along with bold fruit and spice from the oak.
The nose is full of raspberry jam and Parma violets, followed by a touch of cinnamon and the scent of freshly ground coffee beans.
