Aberfeldy 16 Year Old Madeira Cask Finish is a Highland single malt from Scotland, in a one-litre bottle. It spent about 15 years in American oak ex-bourbon casks before moving to a combination of Madeira Malmsey and Bual wine casks, where it finished for more than a year.
The Madeira casks add sweet, spiced notes to Aberfeldy's rich, honeyed character.
In the tasting notes, soft honey is lifted by citrus and delicate caramelised apple, with a little spice from cinnamon and vanilla.
