Aberfeldy – 16 Year Old Ramble Single Cask is a whisky from Aberfeldy (Highland). Aged 16 years, bottled at 56% ABV, 70cl. An award winning Eastern Highland malt that was almost unknown until it was bought by Bacardi in 1998. Aberfeldy was built in 1896 specifically for the purpose of supplying whisky for John and Tommy Dewar’s White Label blend. It has a 5-star visitor centre opened in 2000 and its idyllic setting sees the distillery attract over 32,000 visitors a year. In a fantastic effort to make the distillery more ecological, the owners have invested in a biomass boiler to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Released as an exclusive for The Whisky Shop, this has become a bit of a hit. An unusual label, it was designed by Glasgow-based artist David Galletly. Please note some wax seals are prone to cracking in varying temperatures and transport conditions, therefore - as stated in our terms and conditions - we do not accept liability should these seals be found to show signs of splitting on delivery. Please examine the images of the bottle, fill level.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
