This is a 16-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from Aberfeldy, in a one-litre bottle at 40% ABV.
Raisins and cinnamon lead the nose, followed by caramel and apple slices and a hint of floral malt. In the mouth it is round and honeyed but still lively, with apple early on, then clementine segments, honey on toast and a spark of ginger. It finishes with waxy peel and oak.
