Aberfeldy 18 Year Old is a single malt finished in Bolgheri Tuscan red wine casks and bottled at 43%. This is the 2022 release.
The red wine casks add robust dark fruit flavours and a firm oak character to the honeyed richness of the Aberfeldy malt.
On the nose it shows cherry frangipane and vanilla spice. Sliced green pepper and lime freshen the palate, and the finish is soft oak.
