This is a single cask Aberfeldy from the Highlands, matured for 29 years in bourbon hogshead 7432. It was distilled on 25 November 1991 and bottled on 25 May 2021 by the independent bottler Artful Dodger at 46%. The cask gave 269 bottles of 50cl. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose is led by intense honey with ripe peach and apple, while vanilla and caramel stay in the background. The palate is full and balanced, with honey sweetness, fine herbs and mild woody spice. The finish is long, sweet and spicy.
