This Aberfeldy is a 14-year-old Highland single malt from a single first-fill sherry butt, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Spirit of Scotland series. It was distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 61.1%, in a 70cl bottle. It has natural colour and is non-chill-filtered. The release is 565 bottles.
The nose is warm, with fruit cake, creamy fudge, cinnamon and a hint of beeswax. The palate brings stewed plums, orange marmalade and black pepper. The finish is long, with red berries, sultanas and gentle spice.
