Aberfeldy – 21 Year Old Limited Release (70cl, 40%)

Aberfeldy 21 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the distillery at Aberfeldy in Perthshire, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is a Limited Release and part of the Last Great Malts series. The whisky spent 21 years maturing in ex-bourbon casks. The distillery sits on the River Tay and uses water from the Pitilie Burn, where gold was once panned, a theme that still appears in its branding and bottle design. Tasting notes describe creamy heather honey, dried fruit and coconut, alongside fresh orange, vanilla and spiced oak.
