Aberfeldy – 21 Year Old Madeira Cask Finish (70cl, 40%)

This is a 21 year old Highland single malt from Aberfeldy, finished in Madeira casks and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The Madeira finish is what sets it apart, bringing dried fruit, spice and oak to a distillery style known for its honeyed sweetness. The nose offers sweet honey, dried apricots, raisins and toasted nuts. On the palate there are caramel, toffee, cinnamon and nutmeg with a velvety texture, leading to a long, warming and complex finish.
