Aberfeldy 21 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the Aberfeldy Distillery, part of The Last Great Malts series. It matured for 21 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, and each bottle is individually numbered. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
In 2007 it was named best mainland single malt at the World Whisky Awards in Glasgow.
The nose offers heather and sweet honey with soft vanilla and a little toasted oak. On the palate it is full and velvety, with ripe oranges and wild honey. The finish is long and smooth, lightly dry, with spicy oak.
