Aberfeldy – 21 Years Old Madeira Cask Finish (70cl, 40%)

Aberfeldy 21 Years Old is a Highland single malt from a distillery established in 1898, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle as a limited bottling. After 21 years in oak, the whisky was finished for several months in Madeira casks. Madeira was chosen after experiments with different cask finishes showed how well older stock settles in these casks. The whisky is described as having a luxurious texture and real complexity, with rich notes of baked figs drenched in honey and dark chocolate.
