Aberfeldy – 25 Year Old Sherry Cask Finish Limited Edition (46%)

Aberfeldy 25 Year Old is a limited edition Highland single malt, bottled at 46% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whisky spent its long maturation in refill casks and was then finished in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, which add darker fruit and spice to the honeyed style of the distillery. Malt Master Stephanie Macleod was responsible for selecting and balancing the bottling. The nose offers ripe peaches, wild berries, cinnamon, bitter cocoa and melting toffee, with a note of honey. On the palate come juicy nectarines and apples, a gentle malt sweetness and creamy toffee.
