This is a 25 year old Aberfeldy single malt Scotch whisky, released as the 125th anniversary edition and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers Highland honey, wild strawberries and ripe, sun-warmed peaches, building to cocoa powder, creamy caramel and warm cinnamon. On the palate, delicate fruit sits on a malty cereal base, with a touch of vanilla coffee.
The finish is long and satisfying.
