Aberfeldy 45 Year Old is a single malt and the oldest whisky the distillery has released. It was put together from seven casks, all distilled in 1975.
Each cask contributes its own character, and together they give deep aromatic notes and elegant tones.
The nose is red cherries, pineapple and heather honey. The palate is fresh, with orange zest and lemon Turkish delight. The finish coats the mouth with plenty of vanilla and coconut and a touch of spice.
