Aberfeldy – Archangel No.3 10 Years Old 2013/2023 (70cl, 58.7%)

This is a 10 year old Highland single malt from Aberfeldy, distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2023 by Signatory Vintage. It is the third release in the Archangel quartet, which takes its theme from the archangel Raphael. The whisky matured in first fill Oloroso sherry butts and was bottled at a cask strength of 58.7% without chill-filtering or added colour. Just 1343 bottles were filled, each in a decanter-style bottle. It is typically described as having heather honey character, with berries, ginger, nuts and dark syrup.
