Aberlour 16 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured for 16 years in two kinds of cask: American oak and sherry butts. It is bottled at 40% ABV without chill filtering, in a 70cl bottle, and has a rich golden amber colour.
The nose is floral and scented, with sweet raisin and a spicy nuttiness. The palate is smooth and full, sweet, floral and spicy, with plum and gentle oak. The finish is long and warm, with spicy fruitiness.
