Aberlour 18 Year Old is a Speyside single malt matured for eighteen years in sherry casks, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is double sherry casked, which shapes its rich, fruity and gently spicy character.
The nose brings toffee, butterscotch, ripe peach and bitter orange. On the palate it starts creamy with apricot, then moves to blackcurrant jam, sweet oak and honey. The finish is long and well balanced, running from crème brûlée to oak.
