Absolut Citron (70cl, 40%)

Absolut Citron is a lemon and lime flavoured vodka from Åhus in Sweden, first launched in 1988. It is distilled from winter wheat and deep well water, then infused naturally with citrus, with no added sugar and no artificial colouring. The nose is crisp lemon zest with a little lime peel and soft herbal notes. On the palate it is smooth and citrus-led, with a lemon-sweet brightness over a silky base. The finish is clean and slightly tangy. It suits a Lemon Drop or a Cosmopolitan, or can be served chilled with soda and a squeeze of lemon.
