Acquavite di Frutta Mista - Antica Torre (50cl)

Acquavite di Frutta Mista from Distilleria Agricola Antica Torre is a fruit acquavite from the Monregalese area, at the foot of the Langhe. It is made with fruit grown by the distillery and selected from local farms. Eight kinds of fruit are harvested, worked and fermented separately from June to September: cherries, apricots, plums, pears, peaches, figs, grapes and apples. The separate ferments are distilled in a simple discontinuous steam still, then blended. In the glass it is clear and crystalline, with fresh fruit and delicate floral notes on the nose, and a soft, round, harmonious palate with a persistent finish recalling natural fruit sweetness. Best after a meal or as a meditation spirit; it also pairs with fresh pastries and fruit desserts.
