Acquavite Sliwovitz Domenis (70cl, 40%)

An acquavite from Domenis, presented in a 70cl bottle. It opens with intense yet controlled aromas of ripe plum, plum jam, toasted almond, a faint floral note and a hint of sweet spice. On the palate it is warm and enveloping, with good roundness, freshness, integrated alcohol and a linear body. The finish leaves fruity memories and a pleasant dryness. It is intended as an after-dinner spirit, served in small glasses at room temperature or slightly chilled. It pairs with dark chocolate, aged cheeses, dry pastries, fruit-based preparations and cocktails needing an intense plum note. The box makes it suitable as a gift.
