Ad Gefrin – Tácnbora Whisky (70cl)

Tácnbora is the flagship whisky of the Ad Gefrin distillery in Northumberland, and the first spirit released under its name. It is a blend of Scottish and Irish whiskies aged in bourbon, virgin American oak and Oloroso sherry casks. Each edition blends whiskies that represent the peoples of the Kingdom of Northumbria, with Scottish, Irish, English and Scandinavian whiskies all due to feature while the distillery's own single malt matures. The nose has honey, candied citrus peel, vanilla and cherries. On the palate come vanilla, cream soda, sultanas and nutmeg. The finish is sweet citrus with vanilla and honey.
