This is a single cask Ardmore bottled by the independent Scottish bottler Adelphi. The whisky was distilled on 16 December 2009 and bottled on 11 October 2022, after 12 years in an ex-Laphroaig bourbon cask.
It comes from a single cask yielding 194 bottles at a cask strength of 58.6%, with no chill-filtering and no added colouring.
The nose is dried fruit and honey with peat smoke and a touch of fresh spice. The palate brings malted grain, vanilla and leather, ending in pronounced smoke. The finish is long and warm, with toasted nuts, spiced oak and a slight earthy note.
