Adelphi Linkwood 2009 16 Year Old Cask #552912 Refill Oloroso Sherry Cask (70cl, 53.1%)

This is a Linkwood single malt bottled by Adelphi at 16 years old, in a 70cl bottle at 53.1%. It was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2026 from cask #552912, a refill Oloroso sherry cask that produced 202 bottles. The refill cask keeps the fruit of the distillate in front, with pineapple, melon and raspberry. The nose is fruity and pastry-like, with linseed oil, vanilla cream biscuits, pineapple skin, cantaloupe melon, banana milkshake and freshly cut birch. The palate is tangy and spicy, with red raspberry, white chocolate truffle, pink pepper, allspice and rye bread. The finish is lingering and well spiced.
