Adelphi Private Stock Reserve 2025 Blended Scotch (70cl, 46%)

This is Private Stock Reserve 2025, a blended Scotch whisky from Adelphi, made from a selection of malts and grains. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and has a peaty depth and a velvety texture. The nose is earthy, with engine oil, damp earth and wet leaves, lifted by grapefruit and bergamot zest and wild flowers. The palate is lively and then broad, with complex peat, marine rope, buttercream, flamed orange zest, aniseed, smoked fish and toasted rye bread. The finish is rich and lasting, with toasted grain, taramasalata and lightly burnt popcorn.
