This is a gently sherried 17-year-old Mortlach single malt from the Adelphi Selection.
It was distilled in 2003 and then left to rest for the next 17 years in a single refill sherry hogshead.
Adelphi bottled the whisky at cask strength, and 276 bottles of the Mortlach were released at 55.5% ABV, all drawn from that single hogshead.
