Adnams Single Malt is an English whisky made from East Anglian malted barley, distilled in small batches in copper pot stills. It is matured for at least five years in new French oak barrels and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings apricot, cherry, berry notes, red liquorice rope, vanilla and runny honey. On the palate are blueberries, candied fruit, cookie dough, chocolate and pepper, with spice, a delicate mineral edge and a rich mouthfeel. The finish is spicy caramel with red fruit.
