Adnams Single Malt (70cl, 40%)

Adnams Single Malt is an English whisky from the Copper House Distillery in Southwold, made in small batches. It is distilled in copper pot stills from East Anglian barley, on a site where beer has been brewed for 670 years and where distilling began in 2010. The whisky matured for five years in new French oak and is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The nose brings apricot, vanilla, chewing gum, honey and chilli. On the palate, honey and apricot come with chewing gum, oak, malt and pepper. The finish is fairly short, with oak and pepper.
