A French single malt from the Aikan French Malt Collection, distilled at Warenghem and bottled at 46% in a 50cl bottle.
After distillation in France, the three-year-old whisky was given a second maturation in the Caribbean in JM rum casks, where the warm climate encourages a more intense exchange between spirit and wood.
The nose brings vanilla, ripe banana, dried fruit, light spices and a soft woody note. The palate is round and smooth with a warm sweetness, and the finish is balanced, with the tropical character lingering.
