Akashi 5 Year Old Red Wine Cask Japanese Single Malt Whisky

Akashi 5 Year Old Red Wine Cask is a Japanese single malt from Eigashima Distillery. It was aged for over four years in cognac casks, then matured for a further ten months in red wine casks from the Akashi vineyard in Yamanashi. It is bottled without chill-filtering or added colour. The nose is full, with wood and red fruits. The palate is intense, with tannins and dried fruit.
