Akashi White Oak Single Malt Japanese Whisky (75cl)

Akashi White Oak Single Malt is a Japanese whisky from the Eigashima distillery, in a 75cl bottle. It was aged for approximately five to eight years in ex-Bourbon, sherry, brandy and barley casks. Eigashima's coastal climate gives Akashi whiskies a briny quality, which is especially clear in this single malt. The nose is salted caramel with subtle peat. On the palate come salted caramel, yellow apple, brown sugar, angelica fruits and mild peat, followed by a long, buttery finish.
