Akashi Ume Plum

Akashi Ume Plum is a whisky liqueur from the Eigashima distillery in Japan, inspired by the tradition of umeshu, or plum wine. Fresh Japanese ume plums are added to barrels of matured Akashi whisky and left for six to ten months. It is described as fruity, balanced and both sweet and savoury. It can be served over ice, as a dessert, in a highball or used as a cocktail modifier.
