Akkeshi 2018 is a peated Japanese whisky, three years old, bottled by Adelphi at 57.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2025, after maturing in a first-fill Bourbon barrel. The bottling is 265 bottles.
The nose combines warm wood and smoke with sweet vanilla and fresh pear and apple. On the palate there is black and white pepper, barbecue notes and smoked meat. Smoke and wood stand out, with fruit and sweetness alongside.
