Akkeshi – Boshu 2021 Limited Release (55%)

Akkeshi Boshu is a 2021 limited release from the Akkeshi distillery in Japan, bottled at 55%. It is the third release in the Solar Terms series, which looks to the time of year when rice and grain are sown. The whisky has been matured in bourbon, mizunara, sherry and wine casks, and the local ingredients used in it are central to its story. Its aromas are described as a complex range.
