Akkeshi – Daikan (48%)

Akkeshi Daikan is the sixth edition of the distillery's 24 Seasons series, which follows the old Japanese calendar. Daikan is the coldest season of the year. It is a blend bottled at 48%, made from 50% malt from the distillery and new pot grain whisky aged for more than 3 years. The colour is champagne. The nose offers orange tea, strawberry and lemon, the palate citrus, chocolate and sea salt, and the finish is full of cocoa and spice.
