Allt-A-Bhainne 17 Year Old is an independent single malt from the Speyside distillery, released by Milroy's of Soho as its Vintage Sherry Reserve. It was distilled in 2008, matured for 17 years in a third-fill sherry butt, number 80900249, and bottled in 2025 at a cask strength of 62.3% in a 70cl bottle.
The third-fill cask has a delicate influence, which lets the distillery's light, fruity and subtly grassy spirit come through. The nose has dried apricots, sultanas, toasted hazelnuts and soft Demerara sugar. The palate offers orange marmalade, poached pears, nutmeg and gentle oak tannins, and the finish is smooth and warm, with dried fruit and subtle baking spice.
