A 12 year old Speyside single malt from Allt-a Bhainne, bottled as a collaboration between TopWhiskies and Chapter 7 Whisky. It was distilled in August 2008, matured in a bourbon hogshead and bottled in April 2021 as a single cask release of 298 bottles.
The bottlers reduced it to 49.7% ABV, the strength at which they felt the fruity character of the spirit showed best.
The nose offers a fruit basket, flowers, Manuka honey and candied orange with a touch of smoke. On the palate come butterscotch, tinned peach, honey, gingerbread and cinnamon, and the finish is sweet and long, with mandarin and sweet spices.
