Amahagan World Malt Edition No. 5 is a Japanese blended malt bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle. It is the fifth release in the Amahagan World Malt series, which was founded on the craft of blending, and it has been finished in sherry wood.
The nose brings ripe fruit and fresh-baked apple, with brown sugar, dried citrus and freshly grated leather. On the palate it is smooth, with a tangy strawberry jam note, then maple syrup and raisin. The finish is long, dry and gently spicy.
