A ten-year-old straight bourbon from Kentucky, bottled by That Boutique-Y Whisky Company at 45.8%. It was matured in new, deeply charred American oak casks and is non-chill-filtered, with natural colour. The label artwork was drawn by the illustrator Emily Chappell.
Toffee, crystallised ginger and tropical fruit such as pineapple and mango mark the nose, with a hint of marzipan. Sweet caramel and vanilla join touches of liquorice on the palate, alongside creamy honey and a fresh, lightly herbal spice. The finish is long and balanced, with dark sugar, spicy oak and a little dried fruit.
