Amrut – Fusion

Amrut Fusion is an Indian single malt whisky from Amrut, a Bangalore distillery that began as a rum and brandy producer in the late 1940s. It takes its name from the two barleys used, one Indian and one Scottish, with the Scottish barley peated. The nose shows caramel with a hint of smoke. The palate is rich, warm and comforting, with honey-glazed baked red apples and sumptuous malt, and mild citrus and soft oak in the background.
