This is a 16-year-old single malt from the Knockdhu distillery, bottled under the An Cnoc name at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle and sold in a tube. Knockdhu was founded in 1894. The whisky is matured in oak casks and is not chill-filtered.
On the nose there are fresh citrus and honey, with light malt and vanilla. The palate is smooth, with sweet toffee and a gentle spiciness reminiscent of cloves. The finish is long and warm, with a touch of oak and a little smoke.
