A Highland single malt Scotch whisky aged 24 years, made at Knockdhu Distillery in Aberdeenshire and bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It was matured in a mix of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks and is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is rich in vanilla and toffee, with Christmas cake, marzipan, lemon and apricots in syrup. On the palate come cooked fruit, barley sugar and honey, then candied orange, cinnamon and leather, with clove and coffee grounds. The finish is long and warming, with cocoa, white pepper, lemon and a gentle oak dryness.
