anCnoc Vintage 2001 is a single malt from the Knockdhu distillery, matured in Spanish and American oak casks. It is bottled without chill-filtering or added colour, so it may show a light haze when water is added or when it is kept cold.
Knockdhu has made anCnoc since 1894 and still runs its two original pot stills. Releasing a vintage bottling has become a tradition there.
It is typically described as full of freshly squeezed lemon and ripe blood orange, followed by creamy vanilla, ground spices and a touch of new leather.
