A single malt from the Knockdhu distillery in Aberdeenshire, made from peated and unpeated spirit and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is first matured in American oak, then finished in sherry butts from Jerez.
The edition joined the permanent range on its international release in 2023. It followed a smoky sherry bottling made in 2020 for Sweden alone. It contains no added colour and comes in a tube.
The nose offers honey, tropical fruit, cinnamon and toffee, with a light campfire smoke. The palate is rich, sweet and smoky, with toffee apples, warming spice and vanilla. The long finish leaves wood smoke, caramel and vanilla.
